Summary A 55‐year‐old alcoholic man developed transient Parkinsonism, followed by facial dyskinesias shortly after ethanol withdrawal. It is suggested that ethanol‐induced lipid peroxidation in the nigrostriatal area might contribute to the development of these complications.
