Among the males the mean scores of drug addicts and alcoholics were similar and significantly higher than those of criminals and normal subjects. The mean scores of criminal and normal males did not differ significantly. Mean scores of female drug addicts, alcoholics and criminals did not differ but each was significantly higher than the mean score of normal females. Trait differences among the four groups were also examined.
