Summary More careful examination of methadone patients evidences that they have not less severe after‐effects than have the heroin addicts, Difference is that the symptoms after methadone intake are not as clearly observable than those after heroin use. The most disagreeable of the after‐effect of methadone is profuse sweating. As a very helpful remedy has been established one drop of Tine. Phosphoric Acid with each dose of methadone. (A similar addiction is administered by the softdrink industry to stop perspiration.)
