protein with a molecular weight of 60,000 (60K) (3, 4, 8). It is reported that DBP is one of the early proteins in adenovirus-infected cells and coded for by the adenovirus genome (3, 9). It is also suggested that the protein plays an important role in adenovirus DNA replication, since it is not detected in cells infected with one of the DNA minus ts mutants (Ad5ts125, Ad 12tsA) at the nonpermissive temperature
