We report a 59‐year‐old Japanese male with nevus of Nanta on the face. Histological examination revealed a nest of nevus cells in the dermis and ossification beneath the nevus. Positive staining for transforming growth factor‐β and connective tissue growth factor suggested the involvement of these growth factors in the ossification of nevus of Nanta.
