A 52‐year‐old woman suffering from eczematous, nodular, prurigo‐like eruptions and systemic disorders including fever and weight loss revealed lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, moderate eosinophilia, elevated levels of IgE, and positive ANA. Although the eosinophil count was not always “over 1500/mm 3 ”, one of the criteria for diagnosis of hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES), this case may be considered as mild HES at present. The cause of eosinophilia in this syndrome remains uncertain.
