Thirty three Japanese cases recorded in the last 10 years are reviewed with an additional case of a 57‐year‐old Japanese woman with typical eruptions and cutaneous malignancies. Familial occurrence and parental consanguinity were seen in at least 30.0% and 26.7% of the cases respectively, further suggesting the recessive mode of inheritance which affects males and females almost equally. Cutaneous malignancy was seen in 48.5% of these patients with an average age of 35.3 yrs.
