Soluble epidermal glycoproteins reactive with Concanavalin A (Con A) were eluted by means of affinity chromatography using Con A‐conjugated Sepharose 4B. Studies on their immunogenicity and antigenicity revealed that the main components of pemphigus antigens are not identical with surface saccharides reactive with Con A.
