A study of the system CaO·SiO 2 (CS)‐3CaO·P 2 O 5 (TCP) was conducted as a preliminary step toward obtaining polycrystalline wollastonite–tricalcium phosphate bioceramics. The results showed that the system is a true binary, with an invariant point at 1402 ± 3°C and a composition of 60 wt% CS/40 wt% TCP. These results are in disagreement with the reported data.
