Sintering of silicon carbide reinforced molybdenum disilicide‐Composites using boron oxide as an additive was performed. The addition of boron oxide to the composites was found to be beneficial. It reduced the processing temperature, resulted in smaller grain sizes, and increased the flexural strength of the composites. Formation of glassy boundary phase was also found.
