The oxygen content (6 +δ) in YBa 2 Cu 3 O 6+δ varies with temperature and oxygen partial pressure. An equation for the content as a function of temperature and oxygen partial pressure has been obtained based on the two‐sublattice model of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 6 ( V 0 , O) 1 . The results calculated using the equation are in very good agreement with published measured data.
