Subsolidus compatibilities in the YO 1.5 ‐BaO‐CuO system involving the superconducting 1:2:3 compound have been determined via optical microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and diamagnetic susceptibility measurements. The susceptibility is particularly sensitive to the presence or absence of the superconducting phase.
