Self‐diffusion coefficients for the oxygen ion in single‐crystal Mn‐Zn ferrite were determined by the gas‐solid isotope exchange technique. The oxygen volume diffusion coefficients can be expressed as D =6.70 × 10 −4 exp (‐330 (kJ /mol) /RT)m 2 /s (>1350°C), D=3.94 × 10 −10 exp (−137 (kJ/mol)/RT)m 2 /s (1100° to 1350°C), and D=7.82 × 10 4 exp (−507 (kJ/mol)/RT)m 2 /s (<1100°C).
