Sols in which the viscosity changes by only 4%/h in the range 1.5 to 150 Pa.s were produced, and fibers with diameters between 20 and 500 pm were hand‐drawn from them. Sols remain fiberizable for <140 h at room temperature. Periodic additions of alcohol increase the time available for fiberizing to ≥ 300 h.
