Results of dc resistively measurements on high‐purity GeO 2 glasses before and after radiation with 60 Coure reported. For these glasses, the dc resistivity is increased by irradiation in a stable and reproducible fashion. This effect is attributed to the interaction of radiation‐induced defects with the sodium‐ion charge carriers.
