A microstructure ranging from 5 to 20 nm in size was detected by small‐angle X‐ray scattering in Na 2 O·3SiO 2 and 4EaO·28Na 2 O·68SiO 2 glasses hydrated at ∼100° and 80°C, respectively. This observation suggests the presence of silica gel‐solvent (water) phase separation.
