True magnetoplumbite structures, e.g. Na l/2 La l/2 Al 1/2 O 19 , differ significantly from β‐alumina structures in leach resistance and thermal stability against volatilization. Na, K, Rb, and Cs can be safely immobilized in magnetoplumbite structures.
