Porous semiconducting barium titan ate ceramics with small grain sizes (2 to 5 tun) exhibit large PTCR effects (>7 orders of magnitude). The magnitude of PTCR in the ceramic bodies is significantly affected by the grain structure. This study shows the influences of Stoichiometry on both the magnitude of PTCR and resultant grain structures in the sintered bodies .
