The phase relations were established experimentally for the system CaO‐Al 2 O 3 ‐P 2 O 5 ‐H 2 O at 200°C and 1710 kPa. The quaternary compound, crandallite, CaAl 3 (PO 4 ) 2 (OH) 5 · H 2 O, was found to be stable. Compatibility joins in the system were determined. The phase relations are presented on the isothermal‐isobaric 90 wt% water plane and by projecting the primary fields of the liquidus surface onto the same plane.
