An isothermal section of the system AlN‐Si 3 N 4 ‐Be 3 N 2 was investigated at 1760°C. The equilibrium relations involve the previously known compounds of the system Si 3 N 4 ‐Be 3 N 2 and a newly found complete solid solution between AlN and BeSiN 2 .
