The effects of growth temperature on the composition of CaGe‐substituted EuTm 2 Fe 5 O 12 magnetic garnet films grown by isothermal liquid phase epitaxy are described for PbO‐B 2 O 3 ‐Fe 2 O 3 fluxed melts with a low CaO: GeO 2 ratio of 0.233 and a relatively low PbO:B 2 O 3 ratio of 11. Using increasingly larger quantities of CaO and GeO 2 in these melts results in more sensitivity of the film relative magnetization and domain size to the growth temperature.
