Samples of the titanium oxides with O/Ti ratios between 0.5 and 1.67 were prepared by heating mixtures of Ti and TiO 2 in high vacuum to 1500°C and annealing them in silica ampuls at 900° to 1100°C. Results of chemical and X‐ray analyses are combined with previously published data to form a complete phase diagram. The melting points of Ti 2 O 3 and Ti 3 O 5 were 1839°° 10°C and 1774°° 10°C, respectively.
