A bstract Uverite is the trade name for an antimony‐titanium opacifier, having an approximate formula of 7CaO·CaF 2 ·6TiO 2 ·2Sb 2 O 5 . When compared with tin oxide in a range of commercial enamels, it has proved to be equivalent in its effect on opacity, color, gloss, firing range, general workability, and durability.
