A bstract The properties of a series of low‐temperature bodies predominately comprised of clays and nepheline syenite are described. These bodies have a higher alumina content than the usual typical pottery bodies because of the high alumina content of nepheline syenite and clays and also because flint is introduced only in small amounts.
