A bstract The fundamental theories of emission spectroscopy and the application of these theories to qualitative and quantitative spectrographic analysis are briefly reviewed. Some of the more widely used analytical methods and techniques are compared as to their relative value in the spectrographic analysis of ceramic raw materials and products. An inexpensive projection enlarger is described.
