A bstract The effect of replacing dolomitic lime, both in weight percentage and molecularly, by baryta upon the chemical durability, softening temperature, coefficient of linear expansion, density, index of refraction, elasticity, and several other properties was studied. Discussions of the methods, apparatus, and results are included.
