This paper deals with results obtained in the leaky masonry study at the National Bureau of Standards. Possible improvements in test procedures in future investigations are indicated. The relative importance is shown of mortar properties on the one hand and brick properties on the other as they are concerned either with causing or preventing leaky masonry.
