A study of the use of sheet‐steel enamels on copper showed that cobalt oxide decreased the adherence of the enamel. Several sheet‐steel enamels were fired on copper and in general the adherence was less than on sheet steel. A white cover coat was found to be most satisfactory for copper. Several color photographs are given showing contact lines between enamel and copper, enamel and gold, and enamel and silver.
