This paper attempts to analyze results provided by Dr. Guyer and Mr. Shenvood, with a view to finding out if anything useful is being obtained from impact testing figures beyond what is gotten from static tests. It is shown that in general, with the aid of the rationalization proposed in the foregoing paper, the impact and static tests can be compared as a simple ratio, and that this ratio has a pronounced tendency to be constant for given conditions of testing.
