The work contained in this paper was conducted to determine the value of the treatment of clay slips to reduced pressures. Theoretical information obtained in references, however, indicate little possibility of there being much gas adsorbed by the solid particles of a porcelain slip. No improvement of dielectric strength or mechanical strength could be noted as a result of experimental work conducted.
