It has been the purpose of this study to determine the effect of the substitution of calcined ball clay for flint in certain type bodies. Complete data on the physical properties of these bodies has been obtained, including electrical resistivity up to 980°C. A substitution of calcined ball clay for a portion of the talc in a type talc body has also been made.
