A novel design of a combination air heater and combustion chamber burning liquid or gaseous fuel is presented and illustrated with a drawing. Desirable features of independent drier heaters are outlined, and the efficacy of the equipment described in approaching the ideal achievements is demonstrated. Mention is made of the application of this type of heater to a number of different processes as well as to the heating of factory buildings.
