A simple laboratory test is described wherein successive shipments of feldspar are checked against preceding shipments. This method gives a very accurate idea of variation of feldspar shipments. It outlines a method whereby corrections for relative fluxing values may be made and at the same time body control can be maintained direct from the shop laboratory insuring consistent firing practice from month to month.
