S ummary . The nasal fossa of a six‐year old female Chimpanzee is figured and described in detail. Anterior ethmoidal sinuses are absent bilaterally. Posterior ethmoidal sinuses of supreme meatal origin are present unilaterally. The maxillary sinus manifests an intra‐frontal extension: an accessory ostium maxillare is present unilaterally.
