The genus Phrixopogon was erected (Ann. Mag. N. H. (11) viii, 1941, p. 366 to include Corigetus filicornis Fst. C. molitor Fst., C. ignarus Fst., Myllocerinus excisangulus Reitt., Phrixopogon hirtus Mshl. and P. mystacinus Mshl.; later ( op. cit. (11) xi, 1944) Corigetus nobilis Fst. was also added.
