The migration and growth of O‐group flounders Pleuronecte * flesus in mixohaline conditions

Post‐larval flounders have been found to migrate into the mixohaline region of the River Itchen, southern England, in mid April. These fish were 7‐9 mm total length and at the point of metamorphosis. The mean length and growth rate of O‐group flounders at this site was measured at monthly intervals.
