The adaptation of the activity of the digestive enzymes of Brycon cf. melanopterus (Characidae) to diets were studied. The activity of amylase, trypsin and lipase can be increased respectively with a diet rich in carbohydrate, protein, or fat. Pepsin did not show change in activity.
