Lethal temperature relations of a sample of juvenile French grunts, Haemulon flavolineatum (Desmarest), were studied. The Critical Thermal Maximum (CTM) and resistance times at four elevated temperatures were determined. Exposure time is considered to be of prime importance in studies of thermal tolerance.
