Excavations and surveys at ed‐Dur have produced a small amount of Roman fine ware sherds of varied Mediterranean origin. This article aims to offer a full description and analysis of this material and to assess the distribution of these wares from their region of production to their final destination at ed‐Dur. These wares reveal a local Arabian exchange system of Mediterranean goods and provide evidence for a link between the two major sea routes through the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean.
