The Internet can be used to deliver in-depth education to adult learners who do not have the time nor the means to participate in traditional extension activities. The Agricultural Management E-School (AMES) offers noncredit home study courses in farm management and agricultural marketing topics on a fee basis. Evaluations indicate a high degree of satisfaction with both the content and the delivery mechanism of the courses.
