Summary A case of purpura hyperglobulinænica is described in which the classical features of renal tubular acidosis were also present, and a second case of purpura hyperglobulinæmica is presented with features suggesting the early phase of renal tubular acidosis. Attention is drawn to the possible combination of these conditions in one other case reported in the literature, and their possible ætiological relationship is discussed.
