A 32-year-old Indian man presented with a 2-month history of an asymptomatic gradually increasing swelling on the left preauricular region. He denied a history of close contact with animals or trauma to the affected site. Physical examination revealed a 2 x 2 cm skin-colored nodule on the left preauricular region (Fig. 1). It was nontender, firm in consistency, and nonadherent to the underlying structures. There was no regional lymphadenopathy. Computed tomography scan of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis did not show any abnormality. The nodule was completely excised and sent for histopathological examination.
