In this issue, we highlight a report by Galbiati and colleagues on a role for caveolin‐1 in K‐Ras‐mediated senescence, a study by Caño‐Delgado and colleagues on how brassinosteroid signalling regulates quiescent cell division in Arabidopsis roots, and work by Kleiman and colleagues on BRCA1/BARD1 cofactors with potential roles in chromatin remodelling in response to DNA damage.
