In this issue, we highlight work from Ikeda and colleagues identifying a linear ubiquitin E3 ligase in Drosophila , a report from Backman and colleagues on the development of a partial‐wave spectroscopic microscopy technique for imaging live cellular nanoarchitecture, and a study from Inestrosa and colleagues showing that Wnt signalling increases glucose uptake and glycolytic rate in neurons.
