The purpose was to explore and examine factors that influence the use of mobile technology for learning by Home Economics/Family and Consumer Sciences ( HE / FCS ) educators and their current use of mobile technology. Mobile learning offers opportunities for HE / FCS educators to extend their influence globally. An online survey was distributed to HE / FCS professionals all around the world. The sample consisted of 60 professionals from 12 countries. Confidence levels of participants were moderately high in learning and adopting new technology. Although participants believed that mobile learning could improve access to resources, they were less confident in their ability to implement and use mobile learning in their teaching.
