In October 2019, Spoladea recurvalis (Fabricius, 1775) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) was identified for the first time in Tunisia, in the geothermal site of Saaidan and the geothermal site of El Mansoura (Kebili, south western region of Tunisia). Damage was observed on melon, chard, beet and weeds. This is the first record of S. recurvalis in Tunisia.
