Specific scope This guideline includes specific quality management requirements for laboratories preparing for accreditation according to the ISO/IEC Standard 17025 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories (2017, references to relevant parts of ISO/IEC Standard 17025 are included 1). It should be noted that in EPPO Standards the verb ‘should’ carries the highest level of obligation and is the equivalent of ‘shall’ in the ISO Standard. Specific approval and amendment First approved in 2009–09. First revision approved in 2014–04. A second revision was prepared to incorporate the conclusions and recommendations of the Workshop on Flexible Scope 2017‐06‐26/28. Second revision approved 2018‐09. Third revision approved 2019‐09.
