Cover Illustration: The perifornical area of the anterior hypothalamus is a newly identified area neighboring the paraventricular nucleusin the mouse brain. The lectin Wisteria floribunda agglutinin (WFA, green), a marker for chondroitin sulfate, strongly labeled an area neighboring the paraventricular hypothalamic nucleus highly expressing arginine‐vasopressin(blue) and oxytocin (red). This area is not identified in the mouse brain atlas. The authors named it “the perifornical area of the anterior hypothalamus” as a new region. Eur. J. Neurosci ., 42 , 2322–2334.
