This first issue of 2019 contains six mini‐reviews that were written on the occasion of the journal's 60th anniversary in 2018. We have expanded the editorial board with another four expert entomologists. We will continue the online promotion of articles with illustrated concise abstracts and by actively tweeting (@Ento_ EA ). We look forward to another successful publication year.
