Mini‐Abstract The pneumohydropericardium, occurring spontaneously or after pericardiocentesis, is a rare entity. We describe here an unusual case who developed massive pneumohydropericardium after repeated pericardiocentesis due to leakage of the drainage system. The patient was successfully managed with open surgical drainage.
